Counting down

29 it is -11`C

12 °C

OK so I was asked by Becca today what my countdown was 29 days to fly and 31 to the BIG 60, oh my GOD that is so scary to think about but I will be warm in Mexico. Today started at -17 by the time I got home at 630 it was -5 but the wind is nasty. It is now -11`C

I lost a few days on my pretanning since I got a new TAT. It is so awesome. I can resume on friday.
You know you have to watch the amount of wind when your garbage can goes 2 blocks down the road (wednesday).
Starting to look at what to pack -like a Birthday gift for Liz, I know you think its' easy when we're twins? No it's even harder.

Tulum

closest city

Weather
Tulum has a tropical climate with generally hot and humid weather. June to November is the rainy season when there is a chance of hurricanes as well. This is also the hottest season. December to April is slightly cooler and is the dry and sunny season. There are more crowds however during these months. Probably May and November are good months for a visit, with mostly fine weather and less people.

PLANNING

The Suspense

overcast
View QuintanaRoo, Mexico on Unicornt's travel map.

This trip has been in the planning for over a year.
My sister Liz and I are turning 60 in April, we wanted a way to celebrate together. It is sometimes difficult to set up a trip when one lives in Edmonton (her) and one lives in Ottawa (me), then we added a third sister to the mix. Cathy is our older sister and we have never had a trip with all three of us since we lived at home.
Took a lot to set up but with Lizzies travel agent's help and some extra $$ we have our plan.

The weather here in Ottawa is overcast since we just had a layer of snow. The weather in Mexico will be so much warmer.
Wish that I could go now but birthday is in April.
